This is an excellent opportunity to get your hands on a authentic and original early 70s vintage Bang & Olufsan Hi Fidelity music system.
It has all been checked over and cleaned and is in fully working condition with original parts. It is in excellent aesthetic condition regarding it's age. there are a few light wear marks here and there but nothing particularly noticeable. The turntable has the original stylus and and tone arm and sounds great. The amplifier and speakers also have great sound, very clear and crisp..and loud!
The only 'faults' - the tuner signal strength meter illuminates but doesn't show the actual strength. Other than that, all is good.
I am choosing to sell this as a complete set as I personally love it and they really complement each other. Though I understand it will limit the audience. hey-ho.

Fitted with an SP 12A pick-up cartridge which had an elliptical naked diamond stylus, with a stylus pressure of 1,2g. Frequency range was 20 - 25000 Hz ±3 dB and distortion was lower than 1%. Wow and flutter was less than ±0.09% and rumble was better than 62dB. Beogram 3000 was easy to operate: you simply selected the size of record you intend to play - 7", 10" or 12" - and press a button. The record-player automatically selected the record speed, 33 or 45 rpm, and lowered the pick-up into the first groove.

Beovox3800 loudspeakers were recommended to the listener who liked his/her music tosound really natural and uncoloured. These high-fidelity pressure chamberenclosures contained a 30,5cm bass unit, an 8,5cm mid-range unit and a 2,5cmdome tweeter or treble unit. Beovox 3800 gave a finely balanced reproduction ofall types of music. It had a power handling capacity of 40 watts RMS or 90watts music power. Frequency range was 35~20.000 Hz.
